It is not an easy task to assess human factor reliability in the working systems. An assessment is on the one hand closely related to identification and collateral conditions and on the other hand on the factors, conditions and circumstances that influence effectiveness and reliability while performing assigned activities. Improving demands on safety, exactness and reliability of a human operator involved considerable efforts of the experts have been underway for the recent 60 years. The aim was to design methods that objectify these relations as much as possible. Continual development and subsequent (further) individual methods improvement is not only a step in the right direction but also a certain necessity. Although the development is pertinent to the most developed countries, the Czech Republic is not lagging behind. The research team of the Occupational Safety Research Institute intensively worked on the development of two new methods – MIPS and its modification HTA – to both of which intrinsic original software applications – the subject of this article – were also developed. |
